Appointment booker/ Scheduler

We are looking for an appointment booker to work as part of a team to book appointments for our surveying team with our customers and clients.

About the role

Starting salary: £16,500 pa

Full time position

  • Answering customer and client queries
  • Working to agreed service levels
  • Planning and organising appointments, keeping them as efficient as possible for our surveying team (‘smart booking’)

Business Development Executive

We are looking for a dynamic, engaging and professional Business Development Assistant with a creative flare, to work along side our Business Development Manager, based at our head office in Chippenham, Wiltshire.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous Business Development experience or recent qualifications in lieu of.
  • Knowledge and experience in a sales / marking role – particularly account management.
  • Strong social media / digital marketing knowledge and skills.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop / Adobe Suite / Microsoft Office / Good general computer literacy.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress or other website hosting packages.
  • Customer Service experience, ideally with some face to face Sales experience.
  • A smart appearance, engaging personality and good business acumen.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, by arrangement and be willing to travel (must have own transport and hold a valid licence with business use insurance).

Key tasks of the role include:

  • Conducting research and Identifying leads to develop the business.
  • Acting as a link between the business and clients to ensure clients take more interest in the products and services we offer.
  • Providing administration support to the Business Development Manager, to include various tasks such as recording minutes during meetings.
  • Managing reports and management information to ensure the goals set by the company are met and exceeded.
  • Cooperating in a positive manner to the growth of the business by providing required assistance to relevant staff and partners.
  • Utilising their strong creative ability and being able to produce reports and information in a timely and organised manner.

Surveyor Training Manager

Based in Chippenham, Wiltshire
MRICS qualified (5 years experience), VRS status (2 years experience), £40-45,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We’re looking for an experienced surveyor with a background in both valuation and building pathology to join our technical team as a Surveyor Training Manager.

The role is based at our head office in Chippenham, Wiltshire.

Working alongside our existing Surveyor Training Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Training of all new surveyors and the continuing development of the induction programme – including on the job and office based duties .
  • Ensuring all processes and main panel/client requirements are clear, providing particular attention to carrying out inspections and panel requirements for mortgage valuations.
  • Training all surveyors on the correct use of their equipment, taking into account health and safety guidance.
  • Collaborate with all teams and cover absence for other members of the technical team as needed.
  • Undertake survey work up to 5 points per day when not training.
About you

You will have:

  • A patient and supportive approach
  • Good general IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
  • A good level of building pathology knowledge and residential valuations
  • Experience of Quest, Valex and Surventrix (not essential)
  • Flexibility and adaptability to suit individual training needs
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to undertake project work as needed
  • Good numeracy skills to provide reinstatement calculations etc.
