LMRFC November Player Of The Month!

LMRFC November Player Of The Month!

This month’s player of the month is Chap Kadzombe!

Name: Chap Kadzombe

Position: Number 8

Year of Study: 2nd year

Reason for player of the month: Despite a couple of disappointing losses in our recent games, Chap has not failed to put his body on the line for LMRFC. Never one to shy away from a tackle, Chap’s work rate and ball carrying have been something to admire.

Why do you love LMRFC? I love LMRFC because there’s no better way to unwind after a long week of lectures than playing a good game of rugby followed by light-hearted drinks afterwards, and the group of lads at LMRFC are the best people to do that with!

Favourite film: The Legend of the Drunken Master. I’m a big fan of martial arts movies and the fight choreography in it is incredible, especially the fight scene in the steel mill.

My funniest pitch moment: Probably playing against Wirral Grammar School, I’d just made a tackle and was lying on the floor having a rest when someone on my team decided to throw an opposition player on top of me, unfortunately he landed knees first on my nether regions. The spectators found it funny anyway.

My perfect Sunday: Spending it in with my mates playing fifa and eating pizza.
