For Halloween this year, the White Horse Surveyors team took the opportunity to dress up and raise proceeds for Dorothy House Hospice Care. A local charity based here in the South West, that aims to provide sensitive care and assistance to those in the local community suffering with life-limiting conditions. They provide care and support to patients and their families in Bath and north east Somerset and parts of Wiltshire and Somerset, whenever they need it; at home, in the hospice, or at one of our outreach centres.
Halloween Fancy Dress and Games
As well as donning the traditional Halloween attire, our team also took part in a range of fundraising activities that included a cake sale and seasonal quiz (congratulations to Debbie for winning this!). There was also a round of ‘Poke-A-Pumpkin’, the Halloween game where contestants could donate 20 pence and be in with a chance of receiving either a trick or treat!
Fundraising for Dorothy House Hospice
All of this resulted in the office raising a grand total of £120 for the cause! So a huge thank you to anyone that took part and helped contribute to this great achievement.
