Kipbags donation – one of our chosen national charities here at White Horse Surveyors. We were recently featured in the Wiltshire Times! Check out the article here. This is an incredible charity, working to help some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
We donate 4 kip bags every month, sometimes more to kipbag.com and Chris Haycock the co-founder and trustee, kindly gave us 8 kip bags to hand out to local a charity and we chose Breakthrough, a local Wiltshire charity based in Trowbridge supporting the homeless.
What Are KipBags?
KipBags are packs of essential items that we give out to as many homeless people as we can. We include items that provide immediate relief for those with nothing, and include a sleeping bag, some toiletries, socks, and homeless information pack.
KipBags can’t eradicate homelessness, but by distributing them instead of handing out cash, we can help those who find themselves in a crisis. This Kipbags provide much needed confort, warmth and safety to those that are less fortnuate.
Breakthrough is a local charity, made up entirely of volunteers, who aim to provide support for those who are homeless or are facing homelessness. The Day Centre is open at the Salvation Army in Castle Street, Trowbridge, on Monday & Tuesday between 10:00am and 1:00pm. Breakthrough provides ‘first-line’ support in the running of the Drop-In centre. We help those in need to access the services provided by local authorities & support organisations.
