Additional Optional Extra’s on Surveys

In addition to our standard services, White Horse Surveyors also offer several additional optional extras with our surveys.

CANCELLATION POLICY – all Products

The cancellation charges include:

A £99 administrative fee, if we receive notice of cancellation within 5 working days of the booked appointment date. If there is a last-minute cancellation, we must receive written notification by 17:00 on the day prior to the appointment. Otherwise the customer is liable for the full cost of the survey.

Our customers can also register for our comprehensive cancellation charge. With this policy a standard £19 fee will be incurred for any cancellation made up to the day that the actual survey takes place. However, if we do not receive notification of the cancellation by 17:00 on the day prior to the appointment, the full survey fee will still be charged.

COST OF REPAIRS – BUILDING SURVEY ONLY

The addition of this service means that the surveyor will provide the estimated price of rectifying any identifited faults or defects. This is determined using a RICS approved calculation, as well as the surveyor’s knowledge and experience.

The inclusion of this estimate can assist a customer in the renegotiation of the purchase price with the vendor. Alternatively, it could also mean that the vendor might correct these issues before the sale of the property at their own expense.

A cost of repairs can be added to any Building Survey for an additional charge of £150.

ADDITIONAL VALUATION – BUILDING SURVEY

An open-market valuation of the property will provide a client and/or their legal team with an opportunity to renegotiate the purchase price if needed.

A valuation can be added to any Building Survey for an additional charge of:

Property Value £0 – £600K                    £75.00 for a valuation

Property Value £601 – £1 million        £150.00 for a valuation

Property Value Over £1 million          £300.00 for a valuation

ADDITIONAL VALUATION – HOMEBUYER REPORT

An open-market valuation of the property will assist the client in making a confident and informed decision. By consulting the advice of a local expert, they can rest assured that they are not being misled of overcharged.

What’s more, this assessment can be used by either the client or their lender to potentially reduce the current asking price of the property.

A valuation can be added to any HomeBuyer Report for an additonal charge of :

Property Value £0 – £600K                    £75.00 for a valuation

Property Value £601 – £1 million        £150.00 for a valuation

Property Value Over £1 million          £300.00 for a valuation

ZOOM LOCAL REPORT –  all products

By collating information from over 80 sources, these 50+ page reports provide our customers with a wealth of information on a specific neighbourhood. This includes details of the crime rates, political status, local amenities, educational facilities and much more.

If a client is purchasing property in an area that they are unfamiliar with, then these documents can provide invaluable information that will assist them with their move/purchase. 

A Zoom Local Report can be added to any HomeBuyer Report or Building Survey for an additonal charge of only £8.00 (50% less than the standard RRP).
